Effective 8th September 2026
The short version
We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies anywhere on this site. There is exactly one thing on this site that can set a cookie, and it's the Google Map on our Contact page, and it only loads if you choose to click and load it.
What we store ourselves
A couple of small, functional items are kept in your browser's local storage, not as cookies, and never leave your device:
- Rental cart: the gear or equipment you've added on the Rentals page, so your selection survives a page refresh.
- Intro seen: a flag remembering that your browser has already seen the site's loading intro, so it doesn't replay every visit.
Neither of these identifies you personally, and both simply reset if you clear your browser's site data.
The one third-party embed: Google Maps
The Contact page can show an embedded Google Map of our location. To avoid setting any Google cookie without your say-so, the map doesn't load automatically: you'll see a placeholder with a button to load it, and Google's map (and any cookies it sets) only loads after you click it. See Google's cookie policy for what Google itself does with that.
Your browser controls
You can block or delete cookies, and clear local storage, at any time through your browser's own settings. Doing so won't break this site; the rental cart and intro flag will simply reset.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we'll update this page and ask for your consent first, rather than turning them on silently.
